ABOUT

Meet Hope Stephens, LCSW –
Owner & Therapist at Finding Hope Family Therapy

Hope Stephens is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and the founder of Finding Hope Family Therapy. Born and raised in eastern North Carolina, Hope earned both her Bachelor and Master of Social Work from East Carolina University and has dedicated her career to creating spaces where people feel genuinely safe, understood, and supported.

Hope founded Finding Hope Family Therapy with a clear vision: to offer thoughtful, compassionate, and honest care in an environment that feels human—not rushed, clinical, or impersonal. She believes meaningful healing happens when clients are met with respect, clarity, and steady support, especially during seasons of uncertainty or pain.

Her therapeutic approach is collaborative, grounded, and holistic, honoring the connection between mind, body, and spirit. Hope has extensive experience working with anxiety, depression, grief, life transitions, special needs, and caregiver burnout. She also has a deep passion for supporting helping professionals—such as first responders, healthcare workers, and caregivers—who often carry significant responsibility while putting their own needs last.

As a wife, mother, and practice owner, Hope understands the complexity of balancing personal life, professional demands, and emotional well-being. She is especially passionate about helping clients find their voice, build healthy boundaries, strengthen self-worth, and make sustainable changes that lead to a more grounded and fulfilling life.

Hope’s work is rooted in compassion, integrity, and faith. She believes people are placed in our lives for a reason and considers it a privilege to walk alongside clients during seasons of healing, growth, and renewal.

Hope would be honored to support you as you take your next step toward hope.

Outside of work, Mandi enjoys spending time with her family, camping, riding roller coasters, playing board games, and laughing at the antics of their three very ridiculous cats. She also finds renewal through prayer, crafting, and reading.
